Luminis Health Behavioral Health Pavilion – Phase 1

By Olivia Jacobson-McKelvie, Associate Principal

We are pleased to announce the completion of the new Luminis Health Behavioral Health Pavilion – Phase 1!

With more than half of adult admissions for behavioral health services in Prince George’s County admitted to out-of-county hospitals in 2019, this project addresses the growing need for locally-accessible behavioral health services. Luminis Health is dedicated to helping address this major health issue by providing residents access to high-quality and easily accessible behavioral health services.

Phase 1 provides crisis intervention and outpatient behavioral health services. Phase 2 is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year and will contain a new 16 bed inpatient behavioral health program.

The Luminis Health Behavioral Health Pavilion project is part of MCA’s ongoing commitment to designing spaces and facilities that positively impact the patients’ journey of healing.
