White Gloves Day of Service at the Andy Warhol Museum
Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums’ Annual Meeting
MCA was pleased to sponsor and participate in the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums (MAAM) 2017 Annual Meeting “Making Museums Matter: From Advocacy to Action”, in Pittsburgh, PA. The conference examined how museum members respond to evolving challenges while addressing best practices in technology, interpretation, and collection-related issues.
MCA’s Rick Barton and Veronica Plischke both had the opportunity to attend, with Veronica participating in the “White Gloves Gang” Day of Service where she and her colleagues assisted the Andy Warhol Museum in completing a collections project.
MCA is a proud member of MAAM and we look forward to participating in upcoming conferences in Philadelphia and Baltimore this coming year.
