MCA has been awarded a major system-wide Master Planning contract with the Maryland State Department of Health to provide building assessment, healthcare market analysis and strategic healthcare finance and facility planning for their 11 active and 5 closed healthcare campuses throughout the State.
The eleven active facilities include over 3,315,000 square feet of programs focused on treatment for behavioral health disorders, developmental disabilities and chronic care. It is the goal of this masterplan to provide the state with both short-term and long-term strategies to increase operational efficiency through a strategic consolidation of services, divestiture of real estate and public-private partnerships.
