APL, a not-for-profit division of the Johns Hopkins University, meets critical national challenges through the innovative application of science and technology. With approximately 6000 employees, the Laboratory serves as a trusted technical resource for the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA, and many other government agencies. APL is the largest of the nations University-Affiliated Research Centers (UARC), which are independent, nonprofit organizations that conduct essential research, development, and systems engineering to support national security needs.

MCA provides support to APL under a multi-year IDIQ contract, serving their mission needs in the area of broad ranged architectural and engineering services.
