MCA teamed with Sheppard Pratt—the nation’s leading provider of mental health services to create an Opioid Treatment Clinic at their Towson campus.

Substance abuse and addiction recovery is a critical health issue for Baltimore and the need for increased access to opioid use disorder treatment is greater than ever. This newly renovated clinic is the heart of Sheppard Pratt’s launch of its unique hub-and-spoke network model. The clinic “hub” provides urgent assessments and integrated mental health and substance use care, including methadone treatment. The design features clinical and support spaces for medication-assisted treatment, psychotherapy, and counseling.

MCA appreciates a longstanding relationship with Sheppard Pratt that spans nearly 30 years.  We are honored to have played a part in this facility which will positively impact the lives of those struggling to overcome opioid use and the approximately 65% of the clinic’s patients who struggle with co-occurring mental health disorders such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
