Christin joined MCA in 2018. The majority of her career has been focused on Healthcare, and for half of her career, she worked for a Baltimore based health care system in the Planning and Construction Department. Christin graduated from Philadelphia University (now known as Thomas Jefferson University) with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. While attending college, she interned with Habitat for Humanity, to help solidify her knowledge of constructability. Throughout her studies, Christin focused on how the interior environment truly impacts the users of the space. Her career evolved from working for a small design build construction company to helping set up the healthcare interiors department with a former employee in Baltimore, to being the Facility designer for a healthcare system.

Christin coordinates the interior design for projects in all sectors at MCA, but her passion lies in Healthcare design. Along with maintaining her Maryland Certified Interior Designer License, Christin recently acquired the prestigious Certified Healthcare Interior Design accreditation. She believes design concepts used in healthcare design can bridge all sectors. No matter the sector, Christin’s focus is on how the built environment impacts those using the space, whether guest, staff or student. She aspires to develop a standard that can extend into any sector with only a slight modification.

Christin is involved in the MCA standards committee and previously held the position of CEU Coordinator for Maryland Coalition for Interior Designers.
