After graduating cum laude with a bachelors and a master’s degree in architecture from The Catholic University of America, Kimberly began her career as a project architect designing for some of the mid-Atlantic’s largest healthcare systems. Nearly 20 years later, having built a reputation for consistently delivering quality multi-million dollar healthcare projects successfully and on budget, Kimberly brings a wealth of healthcare experience to MCA.

Having served in a leadership roles since 2013, Kimberly aptly manages multi-faceted teams in designing complex and large-scale healthcare projects and is currently pursing both Evidence-Based Accreditation Certification and ACHA Certification through the American College of Healthcare Architects. As a registered architect, Kimberly services a wide range of project types, including both acute care and behavioral health hospitals, outpatient care centers, crisis-intervention and substance abuse treatment centers, administrative buildings, maintenance and infrastructure, and support facilities.

Kimberly says her passion lies in behavioral health design. With every project, she strives to utilize LEAN design principals, sustainable practices and materials, and evidenced-based and biophilic methodologies to create therapeutic spaces that promote wellness. With her clients and colleagues, Kimberly establishes a collaborative team environment that promotes idea sharing—including creative, out-of-the-box solutions for resolving unique project challenges.

In her role as Principal, Kimberly also seeks to share her passion for mentorship and healthcare design through civic involvement. As a community leader and part of the Leadership Team at MCA, Kimberly currently serves on the Board of Directors for Women in Healthcare where she actively advocates for diversity and volunteerism through her role of Membership Co-chair.
