Tim began his studies in architecture as an intern with MCA in the summer of 2006 before going on to graduate from Roger Williams University with a Bachelors of Architecture degree. Thirteen years later—and with a well-rounded portfolio of work under his belt—he rejoined the MCA team to continue his focus on educational and institutional projects. Tim continues to deliver his projects with the same purposeful design and dedication to his clients that he developed as a young intern working under MCA’s most senior leaders.

Tim has served as a project manager throughout all phases of projects ranging from single room renovations to multi-story, new construction projects. Though these efforts he has earned a reputation for creating thorough and accurate project documents and encouraging roundtable, solution-oriented discussions with his clients.

In his free time, Tim builds custom furniture where he appreciates the idea of crafting a design where each surface, finish, and material choice is selected and worked to create a functional object. He brings this hands-on experience and passion to his architectural work where he enjoys coordinating the design of a space with the realities of code compliance and constructability to create a fully realized and functional place.

Did you know that …

Tim is a professional pyro technician and has been shooting fireworks shows for holidays, events, weddings, theater productions, and the occasional minor league baseball team. His favorite shoot to date was for Defenders Day where he shot red rockets at Fort McHenry from a barge in the middle of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
