Utku began studying architectural drafting as a high school student in his native Turkey. Since those early experiences with architecture, Utku has gained over 30 years of experience in the industry. He currently serves as a Principal at MCA.

As a leader in computer-aided design and digital graphics imaging, Utku is committed to finding ways to engage clients more fully in the process. He continues to achieve this through leveraging advanced imaging technologies.

Aside from digital pursuits, Utku has channeled his efforts primarily into academic and healthcare projects. His responsibilities range from master planning to the design, construction documents, and construction administration of buildings. A talented designer, Utku is passionate about design excellence, and his strong design skills are reflected in various projects both in and out of the United States.

With so many years of experience, Utku has worked in increasingly responsible and challenging positions within the profession. These challenges, which have ranged across various project types, have resulted in valuable experience in all phases of the building design process.

Throughout all of his projects, Utku maintains the belief that a successful design relies not only on a strong understanding and response to the client’s needs but also a delivery of spaces that exceed expectations and create environments where humans can thrive.

Utku grew up playing soccer, starting from playing on the street to playing on increasingly more competitive levels with various teams. He prides himself in having had multiple successful bicycle kick attempts in his career!
