Veronica graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Urban Policy and Planning. She spent a semester abroad in Switzerland, and took advantage of the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and gain a new perspective on design through the array of environments and use of materials. Veronica joined MCA in 2014 and has since acquired a vast portfolio of project types and worked on a number of unique and challenging projects. In 2022, she was promoted to Senior Associate at MCA. In recent years, she has found her niche as a leader in MCA’s Cultural and Civic sector, working through complex building types such as museums and specialty laboratories to deliver spaces that are thoughtfully designed in form and function.
Veronica designs and manages projects in all of MCA’s sectors, but her passion lies with Museum and National Park Service work. She is an active member of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums, and has had the opportunity to work on several major museum renovations including the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum (JPPM) Maryland Archaeological Conservation Library (MAC Lab), Baltimore Museum of Art, and Harvard University’s Dumbarton Oaks. She has also completed a number of in-depth facilities assessments, including Little Bighorn National Monument and Historical Museum, Joshua Tree National Park, and Public Schools for the State of Wyoming.
Veronica is the chair of the Education and Training Committee at MCA, and is instrumental in keeping staff up to date on architectural subjects, best practices, and design trends by organizing expert seminars by product representatives. Veronica is also a member of Dream Design Activate, a group formed to volunteer design services to those who would not otherwise be able to afford it. The group won an AIA Baltimore Excellence in Design Award Honorable Mention and AIA Baltimore/Neighborhood Design Center Social Equity Design Award for their first project designing a Safety City for the Baer School in Baltimore.

Veronica loves to travel. She has been to 12 countries, 34 states, and 20 US National Parks. She plans to go to all 50 states and US National Parks in her lifetime.
