The Team Checks Out NMWA

By Cara Versace, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, Associate Principal

Construction continues at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA).  As the Architect of Record, MCA visits the site regularly to monitor the progress of construction.  The MCA team (Rick Barton, Veronica Plischke, Ken Chow, and Cara Versace) has been working on the project since the start of design alongside Lead Design Architect, Sandra Vicchio & Associates. Here Ken is reviewing the west lobby adjacent to 13th street and the rest of the group is standing on the cornice scaffolding at the corner of New York Avenue and 13th Street.  It is so rewarding to see our thoughtful details come to life!  We look forward to sharing updates with you on this noteworthy project through this series.  Stay tuned!  To learn more about the project, go to NMWA Campaign | NMWA
