UMD Center for Environmental Sciences – Facilities Master Plan

University of Maryland Center For Environmental Science

MCA is pleased to be working with the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES) on a five-year update to the current 2012-2021 Facilities Master Plan. UMCES is a public research institution focusing on marine and environmental sciences that conducts cutting-edge research on today’s most pressing environmental problems. The Master Plan will involve distilling a comprehensive laboratory needs analysis from broad-based user input and providing design solutions for the three UMCES campuses; the Appalachian Lab in Frostburg, MD, the Chesapeake Biological Lab in Solomons, MD, and the Horn Point Lab in Cambridge, MD.
